The students of Columbia Falls High School experience a wide range of academic experiences thanks to wonderful community support for the CFHS Academic Endowment which was established in 2012. Funded entirely through donations, the CFHS Academic Endowment Fund supplements activities and curriculum beyond the capacity of school budgets. 

 

How it Works

The Academic Endowment Fund distributes funds approved by its volunteer board, comprised of community members and faculty. All teachers are encouraged to submit ideas for expanding academic and cultural opportunities for students, whether it be classroom materials or off campus experiences. The CFHS Endowment Fund is proud to offer experiences that broaden our students' lives and academic growth. A few examples of the breadth of project and student interests served:

• new lab equipment in science classes

• transportation to World Quest Competitions

• enjoyment of Shakespeare in the Schools performances

• engagement in robotics lab

• attendance at live theatre

• hands-on carpentry instruction

• computer software for music composition

The CFHS ACAE is a 501(c) non-profit corporation, donations to which are tax deductible. In addition to monetary donations, we are now also able to accept gifts of stocks, mutual funds, and bonds. Feel free to contact us to discuss how your donation may qualify for the Montana Endowments Tax Credit.
