Recently moved from Durango, Colorado, Mrs. Vestal originally hails from the midwest where she attained her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Sociology with a minor in Spanish; she also has a M.A. in Instruction and Curriculum from Montana State University. In the past, she worked in Chicago as a Community Organizer and she also worked for various AmeriCorps programs throughout the United States. Along with a passion for service, Mrs. Vestal likes to travel and meet new people. She brings ten years of working in experiential education and eight years working in public schools in Montana and abroad. She likes to hike, to write, to invent "things" and to play guitar. Mrs. Vestal, her husband, Matt, and their dog, Osita, are excited to call Columbia Falls home.

Mrs. Vestal teaches Sophomore English, AP Language and Composition, Running Start Film Appreciation in conjunction with FVCC and coordinates the Gifted and Talented Program. n_vestal@cfmtschools.net
