Course Descriptions
This course is designed as a simulation that has been developed to provide teen-level entrepreneur and business students with in-depth, real-world experience in starting a real teen-based business. By completing a series of integrated hands-on projects that combine the concepts of entrepreneurship and computer skills students will complete the process of creating a real business plan. Students will be challenged to use creativity, entrepreneurial, writing and decision making skills that will result in a professional business plan and marketing materials.

Textbook
The Teen Entrepreneur textbook and data files will provide complete instruction in developing entrepreneurial skills. Data files will further develop MS Office skills as they relate to business.

Assessment
Tests/Quizzes – 40%
Assignments/Projects – 35%
Participation – 25%

Test/Quizzes will consist of regular chapter tests, occasional quizzes and quarter and semester exams.

Assignments/Projects will consist of in-class work, out of class assignments, as well as any other projects completed during this course study.

Participation will consist of points earned by being prepared, participating in class discussion, and answering questions.

Grading Scale

A – 90-100
B – 80-89
C – 70-79
D – 60-69
